92pt Terrunyo Cabernet & Carmenere from £12.92/btl

Today we feature four wines from Concha Y Toro's Terrunyo brand. Quality Price Ratio more commonly known as "bang for the buck" is a key criterion for all our listings and these wines, especially the reds, are without a doubt among the best value premium wines available anyway in the world. The reviews are outstanding and at under £13 per bottle at the case 12 rate, unbeatable value.
Tended by the attentive hand of winemaker Ignacio Recabarren, each varietal grows and ripens within its own particular Terruño (the Spanish word for the French concept of terroir), an exceptional portion of land located within the very best vineyards of Concha y Toro. Each Terrunyo varietal originates from a unique, specific vineyard in which the microclimate, chosen grape stock, a select piece of soil (known as a block) and the expert hand of man interact magically in a metaphysical conjunction, which creates perfect harmony and delivers unrivaled quality.
Ignacio is a legend in Chile and renowned as one of the greatest winemakers in South America – and makes the icon wine Carmin de Peumo as well as the Amelia Chardonnay and the Terrunyo wines.
We have profiled and promoted the various wines and wine brands of Concha Y Toro consistently over the years so we won't be repeating our introductions to this company here again. Suffice to say that they have again this year been awarded the title of the World's Most Admired Wine Brand by UK magazine Drinks International - beating long-established brands like Torres, Antinori, Penfolds, Jacob's Creek, Kendall Jackson, Vega Sicilia and Chateau Margaux, to mention a few.
The reviews really speak for themselves – and we have also included a well priced tasting case of 12 if you would like to try all the wines and take advantage of the terrific pricing.
