Product Notes

Errazuriz Max Reserva Merlot is a phenomenal Chilean wine that graciously flaunts a rich ruby hue. It boasts a luxuriant bouquet laden with ripe plum, blackberry and delicate traces of spices. Each sip offers a plenteously layered palate that marries bold fruit flavours with subtler notes of dark chocolate and coffee. Well-integrated tannins provide a satisfyingly robust structure, whilst a hint of oak linger in the long, velvety finish. This Merlot is truly an elevated version of a classic, maturing gracefully in French oak barrels. It's a versatile companion to hearty meat dishes or a generous platter of matured cheeses.

Tasting Notes

Beautiful and bright ruby red with violet highlights. The wine shows aromas of red fruits such as raspberries , cherries accompanied by notes of pastry with a touch of dill and bay leaf . In the mouth it feels juicy, very polished tannins with an acidity that brings freshness and tension. Good persistence with a long and very pleasant finish.
