Chardonnay blend- This iconic grape is capable of prospering in a wide range of climates and will produce wines with a huge scope of flavours and aromas, such as raspberries, tropical fruit, peaches, tomatoes, tea, tobacco and rose petals. Chardonnays capability to produce such complex wines normally results in it being un-blended. However, in some cases wine makers will choose to supplement the blend with another grape; for example in Italy where indigenous grapes are blended with Chardonnay.
