Grenache, Shiraz, Mourvedre  This is a blending concept that originated in the Southern Rhône, including in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Grenache donates alcohol, berry scents, and a touch of spice. Syrah contributes body, colour, tannin and black fruits flavours and Mourvèdre typically provides finesse and acidity.
