Loosely translated from the local Aboriginal language to mean "stick to the path", Tapanappa is a partnership between three of the world's greatest winegrowing families; the Bollinger family, the Cazes family from Bordeaux and the Crosers formerly of Petaluma.

A limited quantity of fine, terrior-driven Australian wines are produced each year from only three specific vineyard sites, each remarkable for their individuality.

The Tiers vineyard, one of the first Chardonnay sites in South Australia and a genuine homoclime of Burgundy, produces textured, savoury Chardonnay.

The Foggy Hill vineyard sits on the slopes of the Fleurieu Peninsula, ideal for aromatic and ethereal Pinot Noir.

The Whalebone vineyard yeilds perfectly structured Cabernet Sauvignon, Cebernet Franc, Shiraz and Merlot from soils atop a 35 million year old whale skeleton.
