Michel Chapoutier and renowned Napa Valley vintner Anthony Terlato share an abundant passion for quality and authenticity which has resulted in the discovery of an area of the Pyrenees Hills where both were convinced great wines could be produced.

20 hectares planted with Shiraz and Viognier are managed the same way as Chapoutier's vineyards in the Rhône Valley, using biodynamic preparations and no pesticides, taking only what the soil gives to produce complex and full bodied wines.

The typical soils of the region are red podzolic earth over schist, shale, midstone and quartz from sedimentary deposits over 500 million years ago.
