A true great among winemakers, Pierre Morey, former winemaker at D. Leflaive, runs his own D. alongside his daughter aswell as the extremely successful n?gociant business, Morey Blanc. The wines, aged in deep cool cellars in Meursault are made in a very racy, incisive style that, while closed when young, open up into some the Burgundy?s more vital and expressive wines. The vineyards are run biodynamically and the wines are fermented in steel tank before ageing in a 20-40% new oak barriques.
