Run by the family Vivanco since 1915, this vineyard spans four generations, and today yearns to produce modern wine of exceptional quality using some of the oldest wine-making techniques.Located in the Briones region, a priviliged enclave in the Rioja Alta amongst the foothills of the Cantabrian Mountain Range; this wonderful micro-climate donates to the characteristics and expressions of the wines. Most wines are made from the Tempranillo grape, they also cultivate graciano, mazuelo, garnacha and the experimental cabernet sauvignon variety.From perfection in the vineyard to meticulous bottling contributes to the austere quality of Dinastia Vivanco. To top it off, they own one of the greatest wine museums in the world- there approach to viticulture stems from all aspects of culture and history (art and food to name but two) and this is something they thrive on.
