Langmeil's The Freedom 1843 Shiraz is a sublime Australian wine showcasing the rich heritage of Langmeil Winery. This tantalising red exhibits deep crimson hues and a captivating blend of red and dark fruits. Its elegant mixture of ripe plums, mulberries, and blackberries extends to a background of sweet spice and vanilla. This wine displays an excellent depth of flavour with a lingering finish, enthralling tannins, and mature oak nuances. Crafted from some of the world's oldest continually producing Shiraz vines, The Freedom 1843 Shiraz is a true testament to Langmeil's winemaking excellence and tradition.

Tasting Notes

Colour: Deep crimson. Aroma: An intense aroma of ripe Satsuma plum, mocha, vanilla and savoury notes combine with hints of cedar and sweet spices. Palate: Rich, sweet fruit is balanced wonderfully with briary and sweet spices and lovely, silky tannins. A full-bodied, textural wine, showing great complexity with hints of cedar and allspice flowing through to the lengthy, brambly fruit finish
