Product Notes

Pegasus Bay Aria Late Picked Riesling is an exquisite New Zealand wine, revered for its complex, layered character. With enticingly aromatic notes of apricot, lemon curd and honeycomb, it unfolds beautifully on the palate, teasing with flavours of stone fruit and honey, underscored by a refreshing minerality. This late-harvest Riesling, boasting of a harmoniously balanced sweetness and acidity, lingers elegantly with a prolonged finish. It is a true delight, best savoured alongside Asiatic or spicy cuisine, or simply appreciated as a standalone pour. Indeed, it is an inspiring symphony of taste, justifying its name, 'Aria.'

Tasting Notes

The colour is bright lemon, with aromas of citrus (lime/ mandarin), stone fruit (apricot/ peach/nectarine) and also honeydew melon. Layered beneath there are floral notes reminiscent of honeysuckle and jasmine. While the influence of botrytis adds concentration and richness on the palate, there is also a seam of crisp acidity that ensures the wine remains fresh and lively, with a balanced and lingering finish.
