Jancis Robinson: Bright purple. Quite gassy at this stage but very lively and much suppler than the old style Cissac. Lift and even a bit of feminine grace! Aérien even. Good wine, though longstanding fans may be puzzled by itWine Spectator: Licorice, mineral and tar aromas follow through to a medium body, with firm tannins and a clean finish. Always a little tough, but stylish. Best after 2010. 20,000 cases made. –JSVinification: Vinification in oak vats under temperature control up to a maximum of 28/30°c. The wine is matured 18 months in oak barrels which 30 to 40% are new.
