Product Notes

Trinity Hill Gimblett Gravels Syrah wine is a delightful New Zealand red hailing from Hawke's Bay region. This unmatched Syrah carries a rich hue, a testament to its captivating fusion of dark berries, plum, and spice flavours. Fragments of French oak and black pepper lend a complex note, balanced by a well-structured tannin profile. The wine's full-bodied palate, lush texture and exceptional length underline an intricate character. Trinity Hill Gimblett Gravels Syrah is a splendid reflection of the exemplary winemaking capabilities of the Antipodean shores that easily impresses connoisseurs and beginners alike. It is a pitch-perfect addition to any collection.

Tasting Notes

The 2018 Syrah has a deep and youthful vibrant crimson colour. Wild raspberry, blueberry, cracked pepper and hints of vanilla bean on the nose. Powerful and balanced ripe tannins give the wine great savoury structure. Oak plays a supporting role; the wine leads with a pure fruit expression. This purity, combined with refreshing natural acidity, make for excellent ageing potential.
