Product Notes

The Yalumba Y Series Shiraz exemplifies the finest Australian winemaking traditions, renowned for its robust and dynamic character. A beautiful, deep crimson hue greets the eye, preceding a burst of ripe plum and black cherry scents. Upon tasting, the palate savours velvety tannins and a refined elegance of dark fruits sprinkled with hints of exotic spice. With its harmonious balance of flavours and remarkably long finish, this Shiraz pairs exquisitely with richly savoury dishes, making it a remarkable companion for candid dinner gatherings or snug, cosy evenings. This is undeniably a magnificent testament to the celebrated Yalumba craftsmanship.

Tasting Notes

Deep crimson purple in colour, a cascade of wild berries - boysenberry, blackberry and blueberry - accompany aromas of black forest cake framed with Indian spices. Rich and ripe, the Y Series Shiraz is a glorious mouthful of South Australia with layers of ripe blackberries and Christmas cake. This is surrounded by soft, juicy, fully ripe tannins.
