Product Notes

Alpha Zeta R Valpolicella Superiore Ripasso is a robust Italian wine, exuding a richness and depth straight from Veneto, Italy. Its alluring bouquet combines vibrant cherry, prunes and hints of chocolate, while the plush palate unfolds layers of dark berries and spices, intensified through its unique Ripasso method. It boasts a blend of mostly Corvina Veronese grapes with smaller portions of Rondinella and Sangiovese. This wine is medium-bodied, possesses silky tannins and impresses with its lingering, spicy finish. Ideal with meats and hearty Italian dishes, Alpha Zeta R offers a sophisticated, aromatic experience for any discerning wine enthusiast.

Tasting Notes

Ruby red in colour, this Ripasso opens with a concentrated nose full of aromas of red fruits and dried cherries. Full-bodied on the palate, it shows lovely balance between an opulent cherry-pie character and supple structure. The finish is long with a mouthwatering bitter-cherry twist.
