Wine tasting notes

Medium bodied, with ripe, luscious pear flavours carried by refreshing mineralIity and zesty mouthwatering acidity. Mixed together create a perfect white to match with food.

Intense straw yellow with a golden tinge. A nose of ripe yellow fruit, mandarin and a hint of liquorice and saffron. True varietal expression on the palate while initially a little neutral. Full bodied, soft mandarin fruit with a salty finish. (WS)

Notes of baked apple and peach pie mix with accents of almond extract, fennel seed, fleur de sel and crystallized honey in this rich white, which features a backbone of bracing acidity. Drink now through 2019.

James Suckling (2015)93 pts

This is fantastic white with dried peaches, pears and apples. Full and so spicy — almost burning with it! Then it all turns bright. So well done. This rocks it. Beats chardonnay and sauvignon fatigue. Drink now.

Vinification Notes

100% Stainless Steel, Aged 4 months on its lees with frequent Batonage.
