Wine tasting notes

An espresso of a wine! This wine is bursting with blackberry and plum aromas enhanced by toasty, oaky, vanilla notes. The palate is full flavoured and intense with blackberry, blueberry fruit and sweet spicy notes supported by ripe, dense tannins, giving the palate great structure and length.

Tasted Aug 2016 - Rich blackberry and pepper spices, a pure and succulent Aussie Shiraz that delivers full-on flavour but doesn't get confected or overdone. There's a charming charred meat note and very subtle oak on the finish. Very smart indeed and VGV. (RH)

Deep, youthful purple-crimson; a few steps up from FoundStone, notably with the tannin structure under the black fruits; the finish may be hiding a few gains of residual sugar.
