Product Notes

Bruno Paillard Brut Vintage Assemblage is an exquisite wine, embodying not simply a vintage year, but a vintage blend. This exceptional French champagne, hailing from the historic Champagne region, presents a perfect balance between freshness and maturity. With a golden hue and delicate bubbles, it exudes a delectable bouquet of dried fruit, toasted brioche, and citrus notes. On the palate, distinct flavours of crisp apple, honey, and subtle mineral undertones sing in harmony. A blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes, it is aged to perfection, resulting in a depth of flavour that will impress even the most discerning wine connoisseur.

Tasting Notes

A wonderfully elegant Champagne with delicate, freshly baked bread and citrus aromas. The palate is crisp, fresh and complex with grapefruit, lime and subtle red berry fruit, alongside the richer brioche notes.

About the Winery

Bruno Paillard

Bruno Paillard Winery, an exquisite French winery well-known for its accomplished viticulture and viniculture techniques, has confidently taken its place on the world map. Situated in the splendid vineyards of Champagne, Northern France, it is a remarkable brand particularly admired for its highly distinguished champagnes. Despite being among the younger vineyards in Champagne, founded in 1981 by the eponymous Bruno Paillard, the winery has developed a matchless reputation.

A distinguishing feature of the Bruno Paillard winery is its modern approach to winemaking. Each bottle undergoes a meticulous winemaking process to cultivate the unique mineral character and fine balance that characterises Bruno Paillard champagnes. To ensure only the best quality grape juice is used in every vintage; the winery has a ‘first press’ policy wherein only the initial grape juice extracted is used, leaving aside the remaining pressings.

Bruno Paillard's vineyards cover nearly 32 hectares of prime vine-growing area. The winery cultivates Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier to create its characteristic blend. Their respect for nature, particularly the environment and the climate, is a core value that this brand posits and adheres to strictly.

Arguably, what sets this winery apart is its remarkable ageing process, Bruno Paillard champagnes are left to age for atleast three to four times greater than the legal requirement in France, this provides them with extraordinary depth and complexity.

Through the windows of the cellar looking out onto the picturesque vineyards one cannot help but be swept away by the romance and elegance that is the Bruno Paillard Champagne experience. It is, without question, one of the greatest gems of Champagne, blending tradition with innovation seamlessly to create champagnes that provide a delightful and much sought-after taste.
