Medium-bodied, bright ruby red in colour with purple undertones. Red and black cherries, and blackberries on the nose, which follow through to the fresh, soft palate. A lingering fruity finish with a hint of vanilla from the oak aging – this is a wine to savour.
Cantine Due Palme who are located in the Salento region of Puglia in the heel of Italy’s boot. They are a cooperative, founded in 1989 by Angelo Maci, who is the third generation in a family of winemakers. Today the company have 1,200 growers, covering 2,400 hectares in the heart of the Salento region spread between the provinces of Brindisi, Taranto and Lecce.
