April 2017 - Neal Martin - The 2015 Pinot Noir Reserve comes from the estate, 10% whole bunch and matured in 450 and 600-liter barrels, 60% new oak for 16 months. It has a slightly minty bouquet that just shaves a little off the varietal expression and purity. The palate is medium-bodied with light tannin, mulberry and cranberry notes here with a slightly bitter finish. If actually feels more mature than it actually is. Not bad, although it does not quite match the 2012 or 2013.
