Much more personality than some négociants' wines from this appellation. Rich start and undertow and so much substance and expression that you could actually drink this already. Well done! Characteristic hint of almonds.

Vinification Notes

The grapes were hand-harvested then carefully sorted before being pressed and put into vats for racking. After cooling the must was transferred to barrel for fermentation (50% new oak is used for grand cru wines) where the wine remained for 12 months. It was fined in barrel, blended in tank then filtered. The wine was bottled in the January.
