Wine tasting notes

The 2009 is bright yellow in colour, with aromas of citrus, honey and hay. The palate is medium-bodied and refreshing, with firm structure but appealing lemon and stone fruit intensity to round the finish, along with gentle spice and vanilla complexity.

Situated in Ladoix, which sits at the foot of the famous hill of Corton, in the north of the C̫te de Beaune, Domaine Chevalier produces white wines with the mealy and mineral quality that typifies great Burgundy. Vinification Notes

The Ladoix ‘Bois de Mont’ was made from Chardonnay and a small percentage of Pinot Blanc, which adds mouthfilling, stone fruit characters. The wine was fermented in stainless steel and then aged for eleven months in French oak barrels, which encouraged subtle vanilla and honey complexity.
