F.X. Pichler is located in Wachau, a region so remarkably beautiful it has earned a spot on Unesco’s World Heritage list. The Pichler family have been farmers in the region for five generations. The wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks. After fermentation, the wine was stored in large old Austrian oak barrels with capacities of 3,000 - 5,000 litres. The wine was aged on fine lees for six months before being bottled in August.
