Dark in colour with a garnet rim. This is an inviting wine; notes of juicy plum combine with chocolate and the supple, well-knit tannins lead to a spicy, cherry finish.

After pressing, the must was left in contact with the skins for about ten days to maximise colour and extraction of ripe tannins. The wine was then aged in barriques for ten months, blended and then aged further six months in 3,000 litre wooden vats. It remained in bottle for a further six months before release.
