Wine tasting notes

Elegant with floral, fruity, herbaceours, aromas such as white flowers, berries, red currant, nectarine, apricot, lycheee, melon, gentle touch of white pepper. Dry, medium acidity, gentle tannin and body. Delicate flavors influence the aromas, resulting in a long finish. Drink it now, have fun with your celebrations.

Excellent for summer aperitif with friends. It goes well with pizza, Italian appetizers such as ham and melon or caprese, cold cuts, pasta, Asian and French cuisine, white meat and fish, barbecue and vegetarian cuisine.

Expert reviews

JancisRobinson.com (2019) - 17 pts

Pale watery pink. Not much nose, but dry and fine on the palate. A touch of fresh berries, chopped apples; a touch of wet beach sand, and something wonderfully savoury-mineral, like licking warm, rustic terracotta roof tiles. The wine seems to have an inner texture, that you can taste more than feel. A bit of blood orange kicks in on the finish. (TC)

James Suckling (2019) - 91 pts

Pale salmon-pink color. It’s medium-bodied and creamy with crisp acidity. Delicate aromas and flavors of nectarine, fresh raspberry and apricot stone. Drink now. Screw cap

Decanter (2019) - 89 pts

From vines located at Sommacampagna, a commune situated to the southeast of Lake Garda at 100-150 metres above sea level. This displays strawberry and raspberry aromas followed by an invigoratingly fresh palate with delicate wild herb notes alongside juicy raspberry, redcurrant and strawberry. The finish is steely and dry. Drink with a starter of melon and Parma ham.
