Wine tasting notes

Bright yellow in colour with vibrant citrus, pear and spice notes on the nose. The palate is full but extremely well balanced, with fresh Picpoul acidity and pure fruit flavours. The finish is long and mouthwatering, with complexity of stone fruit, spice and minerality.

Wine Advocate/Robert Parker (2012) - 90 pts

eRobertParker.com #212 Apr 2014 - Jeb Dunnock - Made from 100% Picpoul and brought up all in stainless steel, the 2012 Coteaux du Languedoc Picpoul de Pinet is a fabulous white that offers crisp citrus rind, lime, mineral and hints of dried grasses to go with a fresh, lively and deliciously quaffable palate. Hard to resist, and I can think of few wines better to pair with simple seafood, buy this beauty by the case and enjoy it over the coming year.

Wine Enthusiast (2011) - 88 pts

Lightly amylic-pear drop, resin, mineral, stone-fruit and peach-skin aromas dominate the youthful nose of this wine. Very clean and mineral-focused. The medium body and vibrant acidity give the palate a firm texture. Given its short, crisp finish, it is best consumed between now and through 2013. Good by the glass or with light fare.
