The Le Versant range is produced by Les Vignobles Foncalieu. They are a union of cooperatives, founded in 1967 and located in the heart of the Languedoc region of southern France, with 4,000 hectares of vineyards spread between the Pyrénées and the Mediterranean, tended by 650 growers. Since 2007 they have been committed to sustainable practices, moving towards organic production for some of their vineyards. These ‘mountains to ocean’ terroirs enable the production of a wide range of grapes and styles of wine.
The Le Versant range is a collection of quality varietal wines, from a selection of vineyards on Languedoc’s best slopes. Le Versant means “the side or slope of a mountain”, and they plant their vines on different orientations according to grape variety, which allows each one to showcase its typical characteristics. These are elegant, deliciously refined wines from sun-blessed grapes, rich in flavour. You are bound to find a favourite amongst this versatile range! PS – they are also vegan friendly!
