Product Notes

Loimer Käferberg Erste Lage Kamptal Grüner Veltliner wine is a delight for the senses. From Austria's beautiful Kamptal region, it boasts an enticing aroma of white fruits mingled with hints of marjoram. On the palate, a lively acidity heralds a complex layering of white peach and mirabelle plum. There's a mineral edge, too, adding depth and length to its honeyed finish. This organic white wine showcases perfect versatility, making it an all-rounder for any occasion. Crafted by the Loimer winery, it's a gloriously evocative expression of the renowned Grüner Veltliner grape.

Tasting Notes

Golden in colour, the `Käferberg` 2017 has an intense bouquet of yellow apple, dried banana, oranges and a touch of spicy pepper. The palate is well balanced with a fine citrus fruit character and ripe but lively acidity. An inviting fruit core on the mid-palate combines with a full bodied, generous wine with a lovely pepperiness and length.
