This Sauvignon Blanc features a beautiful greenish yellow colour. Intensely aromatic, its citrus notes stand out over the floral component and the delicate tropical notes of pineapple and mango. Extremely fresh in the mouth, with crisp acidity, slight sweetness and prolonged persistence.
It all began in 1851 when a young Silvestre Ochagavia started a revolution in national winemaking by planting the first French varieties in Santiago. With more than 165 years of existence and pioneers of chilean viticulture, Viña Ochagavia creates disctintive and passionate wines for the world to enjoy.
Alcoholic fermentation is conducted in stainless steel tanks at 10-12° C for 20 days. Pre-fermentation maceration takes place at a temperature of 8° C for 6 hours. The wine is bottled while still young and without barrel aging as a way to preserve its aromatic intensity.
