May 2014 - Lisa Perrotti-Brown - The 2012 Sauvignon Blanc presents aromas of lemon juice, green apples and fresh grass with hints of capsicum and elderflower. Light to medium-bodied, it has a good intensity of citrus fruit and herbals flavors in the mouth with a racy acid line and a long, refreshing finish.

July 2014 -Light yellow. Citrus fruits and pungent herbs on the nose. Dry and sharply focused, offering zesty lemon and lime flavors and a hint of white pepper. Finishes on a slightly tart note, with good clarity and cut.-- Josh Raynolds (2013)16.5 pts

Tasted Jan 14 - Lovely gooseberry purity with an attractive leafiness. Textured - like it might have a bit of Sémillon blended? Stylish, convincing. (RH)

Apr 2013 - Fresh and light, with pretty, lime-accented pear and herb flavors that linger on the deft finish.

This varietally labeled Sauvignon Blanc sourced from the southern portion of Margaret River is delightfully clean, crisp and refreshing. Nectarine, pineapple and citrus flavors mingle easily on the medium-bodied palate.

James Halliday (2016)95 pts

It's as racy as one of (the late) Robert Oatley's yachts. Laser precision with its acidity and flavours - more in the citrus spectrum with crunchy star fruit, fresh basil, cut grass and offers a lot of pleasure. Gold medal and subsequent trophy 2016 Sydney Royal Wine Show and fair enough, too.

Natalie McLean (2012)90 pts

A robust and vibrant Sauvignon Blanc with distinctive notes of passionfruit, freshly cut grass, chives and lime. Very refreshing and palate cleansing. Perfect for vegetarian dishes.

Miscellaneous (2013)90 stars

Tasting Panel - ""Soft peach nose; fresh, juicy and bright with smooth texture and bright acidity; peach, citrus and and long, juicy finish; elegant and balanced."

Vinification Notes

The grapes come from different vineyards within Margaret River and were picked up at different level of maturities. After being crushed and pressed, they were fermented in stainless steel tanks.
