Expert Reviews

James Halliday (2018)96 to 100 pts

G18. It has an elfin lightness and freshness, its 96-point gold medal one of three singled out from an additional eight golds on 95 points at the McLaren Vale Wine Show '19. It's one of those wines you just have to love to death (aka finish). - James Halliday

Vinification Notes

Grapes were fermented on skins in a combination of open and closed fermenters then matured for a short period in tank prior to bottling. This is an unwooded red wine, similar in weight and body to a young pinot noir or Joven Rioja.
