June 2013 - Monica Larner - The 2011 Dolcetto d?Alba Priavino offers vinous tones of cherry syrup, raw blackberry and mixed forest fruit. The plush, rich texture makes the wine feel soothing and sweet as it caresses the palate. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2015.

Dec 2015 - Voerzio's 2013 Langhe Nebbiolo is another terrific example of the year. Striking aromatics give the 2013 much of its lifted personality. Sweet red cherries, crushed flowers, mint, citrus and white pepper are all beautifully sculpted throughout. This is an especially delicate wine that impresses with its poise and freshness.-- Antonio Galloni

Ripe with plum, cherry and wild berry flavors, this red is fleshy and concentrated, albeit with firm tannins.

Oct 2015 - A fresh dolcetto with some cherry and watermelon aromas and flavors. Medium body. Medium finish. Firm texture. Drink now.

Vinification Notes

First produced in 1987, this wine is made in very small quantities (only 8,000 bottles are produced every vintage). Made from 100% Nebbiolo grown in the San Francesco and Fontanazza vineyards. The wine spends 18 months in oak followed by six months in bottle.
