A brighter, fresher expression of Barossa shiraz, grown and selected from elevated or exposed sites that allow for judicious, earlier picking. Hand harvested, natural fermented, old-large format oak and concrete for its maturation. Shiraz with a Euro lisp.
It’s perky and fresh feeling, juicy, bright in fruit flavour, lifted on green herbs and mescal-like whole bunch influence, crisp in tannin and glassy in acidity. The sum of this is a just-medium weight, berry-bright red of lithe nature and great vitality. Silkiness is the feel, it’s addictive sipping in that regard. It’s such a pretty expression of Barossa’s staple, magic in that respect. Like.
