Stag's Leap Wine Cellars
Founded in 1970 by the Warren Winiarski family, Stag's Leap Wine Cellars is considered a Napa Valley first growth producing world-renowned Cabernet Sauvignon from its historic vineyards. The winery first brought international recognition to California winemaking and the Napa Valley when its 1973 S.L.V. Cabernet Sauvignon won the now famous 1976 Paris Tasting (also known as the ?Judgment of Paris?) by besting some of the most celebrated wines of Bordeaux. Their three estate-grown wines?CASK 23, S.L.V., and FAY?are among the most highly regarded and collected Cabernet Sauvignons worldwide. The wines are fashioned to express classic elegance, structure and ageability. It's a style that has become known as "an iron fist in a velvet glove."The winery is also recognized for its Napa Valley collection of wines including ARTEMIS Cabernet Sauvignon and KARIA Chardonnay. These wines provide a strong link to the origin, style, and character of the limited-production estate wines, but they are produced in quantities that make them more accessible. The wines are arriving at the end of November and will be available for delivery from the first week of December.
