Wine Advocate # 205. Feb 2013. Reviewer : Antonio Galloni. The 2011 Regaleali Bianco is quite rich and generous in this vintage, but still maintains lovely freshness in its essential white stone fruit/citrus/floral profile. Once again, Regaleali?s Bianco is one of the great values in Italian wine. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2014.

Tasted May 2012 by WS. One million bottles produced. A blend of Inzolia, Grecanico, and Catarratto Comune fermented in stainless steel. Pale straw. Fresh tropical fruit nose but not too overwhelming. Same fresh, appealing fruit on the palate driven by acidity. GV. When to drink : 2012 to 2014.

Wine Spectator (2013)88 pts

Oct 15, 2014 - A vibrant white driven by tangy acidity, this shows expressive green apple, candied lemon, lime zest, Thai basil and green melon notes. Light and lithe, with a mouthwatering finish. Grecanico, Catarratto, Inzolia and Chardonnay. Drink now through 2016

Wine Enthusiast, 86pts and Best Buy ( 2008) - "Here’s the quintessential Mediterranean fish wine that offers easy aromas of citrus, almond flower and peach. Think grilled tuna, halibut and pan roasted sea bass. The wine is light, fresh and offers a touch of piquant acidity on the close. — M.L. (4/1/2010)

Vinification Notes

Ageing : 3 months in stainless steel tanks.
