Wine tasting notes
The nose presents voluminous dark fruit like blueberry and plum, but also raspberry and anise, together with a touch of black pepper and clove. Depth and warmth. After such a nose, the palate surprises with bright, fresh red fruit: cranberry and red cherry. The tannins are soft, agreeable and lively, offering grip without astringency. Elegant, yet intense, and without being exaggerated or overdone in any way. The finish is long and peppery. This is a very youthful wine, with plenty of time ahead of it - but irresistibly delicious now.
