Deep garnet red with violet gleams. A highly aromatic Syrah with aromas of berry fruits such as blackberries, blueberries and raspberries. Hints of bitter chocolate combine nicely with notes of black pepper, cinnamon and tobacco. A well balanced mouth feel with a long and juicy finish.

Aromas of walnuts, dark fruit and hints of tea leaf follow through to medium to full body and velvety tannins. Soft and very pretty. Drink now.

Minty foresty aromas blend with chocolate and wild-berry scents on the nose. This feels lively but also narrow and tartaric. Flavors of plum and black fruits are oaky, while this tastes roasted and feels juicy but also choppy on the finish.

Miscellaneous (2016)4 stars

Tastings.com 91pts - Black violet color. Savory aromas of black olives, sun dried tomato, sultana, pine nuts, and applewood smoke with a chewy, vibrant, dry-yet-fruity full body and a captivating, medium-long dark chocolate, toasted hazelnut, caper berries, and fresh parsley finish with chewy, coating tannins and moderate oak. An appealingly smoky and savory syrah with substance to boot.
