Expert Reviews

Vinous/Antonio Galloni (2014)91 pts

Bright dark red. Vibrant aromas of blackcurrant, tobacco, plum and violet, plus a sexy whiff of smokiness. Concentrated wine with sneaky sweetness and lovely lift and definition; shows the energy of the year without any greenness. Finishes firmly tannic and long, with excellent juicy lift. -- Stephen Tanzer

Shows lots of peppery notes to the red plum, cherry tart and red currant flavors. Lithe midpalate, with a cream-filled finish that offers white chocolate accents. Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Bonarda.

James Suckling (2014)91 pts

A savory and flavorful red with cooked plum and berry character. Full body, fresh finish. Drink now.

Editor's Choice - Ripe, loamy blackberry and cassis aromas are balanced and lightly woody, with warmth and depth. A smooth, healthy palate is friendly, soft and creamy, while flavors of blackberry, prune and cassis end in mellow fashion. Drink this Malbec-led blend through 2020.
