BISCARDO
The Biscardo family have owned land in the Verona region of north east Italy since the late 18th century and they have a long tradition of winemaking. Founded in 1878 by Terenzio Biscardo, it was one of the first wine companies to be run by Veronese traders. Development continued in the early decades of the 20th century, being one of the first wine companies to deliver to restaurants. Biscardo are still family run today by brothers Maurizio and Martino Biscardo, whose winery in the Soave region of the Veneto is called Cantine Mabis, and has been owned by the family since 1796. Their superb multi-awarded wines are known for their powerful flavours with incredible purity of fruit. They are also beautifully packaged and exceptional value for money!
