Wine tasting notes

Complex, spicy aromatics of black cherry, baking spices and a hint of dried pine needles. Well integrated fine oak creates a lovely structure and perfectly balanced finish.

Expert reviews

Wine Advocate/Robert Parker (2017) - 87 pts

Rimapere travels under the Baron Edmund de Rothschild coat of arms, but it is a joint venture between that branch of the Bordeaux empire and the Peabody family of Craggy Range. The 2017 Single Vineyard Pinot Noir is a simple, sturdy number, offering up black cherry fruit, hints of cola and mushroom on a medium-bodied palate. It's concentrated enough to warrant interest, with enough stuffing to age through 2023.

James Suckling (2017) - 91 pts

An array of bright strawberries and light red cherries here. Really upbeat. The palate has a succulent, silky and plush feel with supple, elegant and focused, red-cherry flavors. Drink now. Screw cap.
