Wine tasting notes

This beautiful golden coloured wine, shot through with green highlights, reveals an aromatic nose of stone fruit and nectarines, accompanied with notes of freshly baked brioche sprinkled with blanched almonds. The luscious palate is full of fragrant peaches with a touch of lemon verbena, and delivers a fresh finish. A rich and refined wine.

perfect for aperitifs. Pairs excellently with poultry. fried foie gras, white fish with creme, or blue cheese.

Expert reviews

Wine Advocate/Robert Parker (2015) - 91 pts

May 2016 - Jeb Dunnock - A fabulous effort the has finesse, elegance and texture, the 2015 Rose from Chene Bleu sports a light pink color to go with perfumed notes of rose petals, framboise and strawberries. This seamless beauty can be enjoyed on its own, but it will pair beautifully with any number of dishes as well.

Vinous/Antonio Galloni (2015) - 91 pts

Bright orange-pink. Aromas of fresh red berries, orange pith and dusty minerals, joined by a suave floral nuance that builds in the glass. Silky, focused and energetic on the palate, offering juicy strawberry and tangerine flavors sharpened by a suggestion of white pepper. Closes minerally and extremely long, showing a repeating floral note and lingering citrus fruit character. -- Josh Raynolds

JancisRobinson.com (2015) - 16 pts

Nov 2016 - Pale tomato pink. Straightforward herby scents and very round fruit with real savour. Quite long.

Wine Spectator (2015) - 88 pts

Tender at first, this rosé gains zip through the finish, letting watermelon rind, cherry pit and peach flavors linger. Drink now.
