Product Notes

Rhys Vineyards Anderson Valley Pinot Noir is a delightfully exquisite wine, hailing from California's esteemed vineyards. It seduces with a bouquet of luscious red fruits and hints of earthy undertones. Its taste offers an elegant journey of rich black cherries and raspberry, enhanced by gentle notes of spice and oak. Beautifully balanced, this wine showcases mild tannins and a good acidity that delivers a truly gratifying finish. Its complexity and depth make it an excellent choice for subtle food pairings, inviting conversation and sips that linger. Indeed, a fine testament to American winemaking prowess.

Tasting Notes

In keeping with the Rhys philosophy of site specific wines, the Anderson Valley pinot is sourced entirely from the Bearwallow vineyard, situated at the cool end of the Anderson Valley, presented in an early drinking and enormously alluring package. Displaying textbook Bearwallow characteristics of bright fruit and finely spiced minerality in a poised, elegant and silky package. For all the sweet fruit this is never cloying or faux, the purity of fruit combining with fresh minerality to make it highly interesting, but also very moreish.
