Wine tasting notes
The nose is fresh and appealing with splashes of freshly squeezed lime juice and lemon blossom. On the palate this wine is fresh, crisp and appealing with loads of zesty citrus. The palate is long and defined running straight down the centre of the tongue to a finish that sings with crisp acidity. This Riesling is a bright, pale straw colour with tinges of green. The fresh intense flavours and crisp balance of this wine are perfect to enjoy now and over the next 3 to 5 years.
Food matching
This wine teams well with Asian-inspired flavours such as Vietnamese Chicken Salad or Ocean Trout Spring Rolls with Ginger and Coriander. Riesling of this style is fantastic with pan fried fish fillets that are lightly seasoned and drizzled with lemon or lime juice. The Devils Corner Riesling is also a very good accompaniment with freshly shucked oysters
