Wine tasting notes
A bright yellow coloured wine, with a fruit bowl nose of ripe exotic mangoes, melons and pineapples along with orchard and stone fruits, and nuances of white flowers. The fruit follows through on the creamy medium-bodied palate. An elegant Chardonnay with refreshing acidity and a lingering finish.
Food matching
Chilean Chardonnays such as this are versatile food partners, offering both refreshing acidity and richness. Key ingredients to go for include chicken, fish and seafood, with crab an especially good match, because of its richness. This wine will also stand up to many cuisines so have fun experimenting. It works particularly well with Thai green curry or with barbecue sauce. It is a match made in heaven with spicy fish cakes. What to avoid, however, are heavy red meats, creamy sauces and anything smoked. You can also enjoy this wine on its own as an aperitif.
