Wine Advocate #198. Dec 2011. Reviewer : Jay Miller. The 2010 Lo Tengo Malbec was also raised in stainless steel. It is a layered, savory, drier offering with good varietal character and plenty of black cherry and black raspberry fruit. It, too, is a very good value meant for drinking over the next 2-3 years. Drink: now - 2014.

Issue: Web Only - 2012. This red offers a spicy edge to black cherry and blackberry notes that pick up light floral and mineral hints on the finish. Drink now. ?NW.

Concentrated for a value-priced Malbec, with aromas of blueberry, beets and cherry. The palate is full and moderately deep, with standard black fruit flavors along with hints of butter and vanilla. Structured and balanced, with creaminess. — M.S. (8/1/2011)
