Since 1626, the Trimbach family has been promoting the history, exceptional terroirs and fine wines of Alsace. Maison Trimbach is located in Ribeauvill̩, where today three generations work closely together. In Alsace, Pinot Noir needs the longest and warmest summers to reach optimum maturity and as a consequence Trimbach only vinifies this wine in exceptional years. The grapes are crushed and destemmed followed by temperature controlled fermentation in stainless steel. The wine is not oaked in order to preserve fruit purity and freshness. Bottling takes place in the spring following the harvest.
