Wine tasting notes

Very pale straw in the glass. Lifted citrus aromas of lemon and sherbert with hints of floral notes. On the palate, classic Marlborough Riesling characters of lemon and juicy acidity make this a lively wine with excellent length.

Kim Crawford

Kim Crawford Wines have a life of their own, and the memory of Kim and Erica Crawford, who put a lot of time and energy into selling their wines in inventive ways, lives on, especially in the UK. Kim Crawford Wines was established in late 1996, when Kim launched a range made from fruit grown in the South Island. Kim sold the company to Constellation in 2005 and has since handed the winemaking reins over to the Constellation winemaking team led by chief winemaker Anthony Walkenhorst. Despite.. read more

Vinification Notes

The fruit was machine harvested in the cool evenings and overnight to preserve flavours. Gentle pressing was followed by cold settling prior to racking to tank for fermentation. Each block was kept separate throughout the various stages of the winemaking process. When all tanks had completed ferment the parcels were tasted and the pick of the wines were blended, fined, stabilised and bottled.
