Wine tasting notes

Beautifully pure, floral nose. On the palate a racy, energetic feel with nuances of stonefruit, acacia, brioche and underlying minerality. Lovely purity and vitality run like a vein through the wine, which has a long, crisp, slighty nutty finish. Exemplary Blanc de Blancs and great apéritif style.

Expert Reviews (NV)17 pts

Tasted Sept '13 - Delicate texture but some autolysis on the nose. Real savour and refreshment. Beginning, middle and end to this proper wine – very much more interesting than many champagnes at the same price.

Wine Spectator (NV)91 pts

Nov 2012 - Fresh, offering a lively bead, with flavors of white peach, apple, biscuit and blanched almond that show a hint of passion fruit. Shows fine texture and an open-knit, mineral-tinged finish.

Based on the premier cru Chardonnay vineyards of Cuis, this soft and fresh wine is beautifully balanced. It has apple freshness, a tangy texture from minerality, and a bright and fruity aftertaste. R.V. (2/1/2016)
