Light, lemony colour with youthful rim. It is more perfumed than the 2009, with a lovely fresh white flower, almond and citrus nose giving way to a ripe but crisp melon and a touch of white peach character on the palate. Lifted, aromatic finish.
The grapes were hand harvested, destemmed, crushed and chilled on the way to the press with no sulphur addition. The juice was naturally settled and after racking, cultured yeasts were added to initiate fermentation, which took place at 12-14ºC. These relatively low fermentation temperatures help preserve the fresh fruit character of the grapes.
