Description

SEA CHANGE
Oceans are the biggest ecosystems on earth, and their conservation is of the upmost importance if we want to save our planet for future generations, because for humankind to survive and prosper, we need healthy oceans. It’s time for a Sea Change!
"Sea Change Wine are honoured to have two of the world's leading environmentalists, Sir David Attenborough and Jean-Michel Cousteau, supporting the Sea Change Project.".
They support ocean conservation through direct partnerships with key ocean and marine focused charities.
The range has been designed with minimal packaging to reduce potential waste and to maximise its environmental credentials:
*‘Grape Touch’ labels have been used, which consist of 15% recycled grape waste with the remaining raw materials coming from FSC certified forests.
*The Nomacorc Select Green closure is made from renewable plant-based polymers, resulting in the cork being fully recyclable.
*No capsule covers are used on the wine to minimise unnecessary packaging and to enhance the ease of recycling.
*Money from every bottle of Sea Change is donated to various marine charities.

Wine tasting notes

Sea Change Rosé is a beautiful, pale pink colour. Fresh strawberries and watermelon, framed with a mouthwatering crispness that delivers a clean and refreshing experience.

Winery information

Chateau Canet

A traditional 19th century wine estate, Chateau Canet is today recognised as one of the leading domaines of the Minervois region in the heart of the Languedoc Roussillon. The 45 hectares of vineyards are complimented with 3 hectares of olive groves and over 65 hectares of farmland and pine forests. The setting is truly enchanting with all the buildings nestled in the heart of the estate. There are uninterrupted views over the vineyards and olive groves to the distant Alaric mountains. It is a perfect place to unwind and soak in the beauty of the South of France.
Since 2003 they have been committed to and certified by “Terra Vitis”, an organization, established in 1998, that aims to limit the impact on the environment by regulating procedures for both viticulture (vineyard) and viniculture (cellar) management.

Food matching

We think Sea Change Rosé drinks beautifully with light dishes, seafood and salads. But truth be told, this is simply a cracking wine to be enjoyed with friends, either with or without food.
