Wine tasting notes

The Wine • Look for a vibrant delicate pink hue with a fine persistent bead • Subtle nose of Turkish Delight and rose petal florals • Mousse creaminess and strawberries on the tongue with a refreshing finish

Expert reviews

Wine Enthusiast (NV) - 90 pts

This pale salmon rosé is a reliable sparkling wine at a very good price. The latest NV release is toasty on the nose, then offers just faint hints of peach or berry flavors. It's lithe yet creamy on the palate, with a long finish. J.C. (2/1/2012)

James Halliday (NV) - 94 pts

Jansz Rose declares its greatness in its delicate restraint, and the latest release is as pale and elegant as ever. The faintest salmon blush tint subtly coaxes out dainty red berry and red cherry fruits, but the theme here is more about mouth filling lees-derived texture and cool, energetic Tasmanian acidity than it is about overt flavour. For pure, breathtaking restraint, Jansz remains the queen of Australian rose.
